Lissette Miosotis (Hernández Rodriguez)
Nació en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana el 20 de Julio del año 1978, estudio publicidad en la Universidad Católica Santo Domingo. En el 2005 se mudó a la ciudad de Charlotte, NC a un nuevo comienzo con su familia. En el 2010 destacó en el concurso SUPER MAMA de la Coalición de Frutas y Verduras del condado de Mecklenburg, desde ahí comienza su labor comunitaria y Partnership con diferentes entidades sin fines de lucro. En colaboración con su hermana crean el programa The Funny Kitchen un programa familiar donde el arte y la alimentación saludable van de la mano.
Le apasiona la Poesía, el teatro y la fotografía, sus mayores influencias en estas áreas vienen de mi abuela María Olimpia y mi tía La Escritora Grey Acosta.

Lissette Hernández Rodriguez was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on July 20th 1978, and studied Marketing at Santo Domingo Catholic University. In 2005 she moved to the city of Charlotte NC for a new beginning with her family. In 2010 she stood out at the Mecklenburg County Coalition Fruits and Vegetables contest, SUPER MOM, starting her community work and partnership with different non-profit organizations. She is the creator of the family program The Funny Kitchen in collaboration with her sister where art and healthy eating go hand in hand. She is passionate about poetry, theater and photography; she is mostly influenced in these areas by her grandmother Maria Olimpia and her aunt, writer Grey Acosta. Her participation in cultural and literature events includes reciting Poemas Ineditos of Dominican writer Grey Acosta: “Novant Health 2012”, “Health Advocates Poetic Activism”, “VozEs 2014”, “That’s enough, those dream also have rights”, “National holidays and traditions committee of Charlotte 2016”, “Santo Domingo of my Dreams”, “Stories for Gabo II El Quixote Festival”, “At the shadows of His Highness”, “A day in the country”, represented the Dominican Republic on April 2017 in the celebration of Spanish Language Day with the a special collaboration of Dominican journalist Elvira Lora.
