Statement
Vivid and colorful digital collages tell stories inspired by daydreams. Layers of photographs, vintage ephemera, and digital painting create whimsical and surreal works that break from the everyday and let your mind wander.
Bio
Treasure hunter, vintage lover, and collector of dusty old things, North Carolina native Sherri Leeder grew up in the Triangle area. Poking around flea markets for inspiration, she began designing old style, elaborately beaded brooches and necklaces. Recently she has taken her love of layering color and texture from beads and baubles into digital collage art. Combining photographs, vintage illustrations,
and digital art, her whimsical collage work has been shown in Raleigh, Durham, and Salisbury, NC. She is an exhibiting member of the Cary Gallery of Artists.
