Artist Studio Project in collaboration with the COR Museum and M.T. Pope House Museum and the Mexican Consulate in Raleigh invite you to participate in a very special Día De Los Muertos Cultural Event. As part of the 3rd Annual El Quixote Festival honoring Sor Juana Ines de La Cruz, three special female artists will be creating an altar honoring the memory of the women who impacted us, who we love and we miss dearly and have passed on. We encourage the community to participate by submitting the name of a special person that has inspired them or they would like to honor. We will include their name in the altar.
Artist Studio Project en colaboración con el Museo COR y M.T. El Museo Pope House y El Consulado de Mexico en Raleigh, le invita a participar en un evento cultural muy especial celebrando El Día De Los Muertos. Como parte del 3º Festival Anual de El Quijote en homenaje a Sor Juana Inés de La Cruz, tres artistas femeninos especiales estarán creando un altar en honor a la memoria de las mujeres que nos impactaron, a quienes amamos y extrañamos mucho. Animamos a la comunidad a participar presentando el nombre de una persona especial que los ha inspirado o que les gustaría honrar. Incluiremos su nombre en el altar.

You can also bring a small item that represents that special person and we will work it into our altar design.
The following items will be accepted: (please one item per person) Please do not bring large items. We have limited space and would like to include as many people as possible.
- Photo – not larger than 5×7, photos can be framed.
- Silk or paper flowers (yellow or orange Marigolds)
- Saints –
- LED Candles – Due to fire concerns no candles will be lit.
- Wrapped candies
- Cut Mexican Paper ( Papel Picado)
También puede traer un pequeño artículo que represente a esa persona especial y la trabajaremos en nuestro diseño de altar.
Los siguientes artículos serán aceptados: (por favor, un artículo por persona) No traiga artículos grandes. Tenemos espacio limitado y nos gustaría incluir tantas personas como sea posible.
- Foto – no más de 5×7, las fotos pueden ser enmarcadas.
- Flores de seda o papel (amarillo o naranja Maravillas)
- Santos
- Velas de (LED) – Debido a las preocupaciones de incendios no se encenderán las velas verdaderas.
- Caramelos envueltos
- Papel Mexicano (Papel Picado)
