The Windmills in my Mind.
Acrylic, collage, oil, and pencil.
30×22”. 2015
In our society we are expected to comply with certain behavior and thinking, once we get out of that line of assumption we are immediately judged for it. The constant pressure starts to bury confusion in the mind, am I wrong? Am I crazy? Are my dreams out of reality? And those doubts start to circle in the brain constantly, around and around like windmills in the mind.
“My art is a variation of subjects, nature, history and mythology that I evoke through abstracts on paper and canvas. Nature is an unending mystery. History has been painted with strokes of mythology. All three are total inspiration for my art. My art is experimental and an artistic release that I use to unwind and recharge. It is a refuge that is soothing and therapeutic. “
